On 13th June, The Orchard School proudly hosted its very first prom, an unforgettable event that has already earned its place as a new tradition in the school calendar.
The idea for the prom came directly from learner voice, with them sharing their desire to celebrate their achievements together in a special way. Thanks to the enthusiasm of learners, the dedication of staff, and the incredible support of parents and carers, the event was a resounding success.
From the decorations to the music and the sense of celebration, the prom created lasting memories for everyone involved.
Principal Steven Broderick said:
“Our first Orchard prom was a wonderful occasion, and it was inspiring to see how learner voice shaped such an important new tradition for the school. It was a day filled with joy, celebration and togetherness, and we are hugely grateful to our parents, carers and staff for helping to make it such a success.”
With its success, the Orchard prom is now set to become an annual highlight, eagerly anticipated by learners for years to come.
