The Orchard School Wins National ISA Charity Event Challenge

The Orchard School is celebrating national recognition after being named one of the winners of the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Charity Event Challenge, following an outstanding fundraising initiative organised by Tutor Natalie Potter.

The school’s ambitious charity event impressed the ISA judging panel with its creativity, organisation and community spirit, raising an incredible £3,000 for charity through a wide variety of fundraising activities.

The judges praised the school’s achievement, commenting:

“The judges were particularly impressed by the ambitious goals the team set and the wide range of stalls they incorporated into their event. This must have taken a tremendous amount of planning and teamwork. Huge congratulations on raising the phenomenal total of £3,000 for charity!”

The successful event showcased the teamwork, enthusiasm and generosity of learners and staff, who worked together to plan and deliver a range of engaging stalls and activities in support of charitable causes. Their commitment not only resulted in an impressive fundraising total but also demonstrated the school’s values of compassion, collaboration and community involvement.

School Principal, Steven Broderick, said:

“We are absolutely delighted that our charity event has been recognised nationally by the Independent Schools Association. Raising £3,000 for charity was a fantastic achievement in itself, but to receive such positive feedback from the judges makes the success even more special. This award is a credit to Natalie Potter for her outstanding organisation and to our learners and staff, whose enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment made the event such a memorable success. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved.”

The Orchard School is committed to creating opportunities for learners to make a positive difference within their community, and this national recognition highlights the impact that can be achieved when learners and staff work together towards a common goal.
