The Orchard School welcomes new Executive Principal

The Orchard School, a special school for children with additional needs aged 11 to 16 years which is based across three sites in Grimsby, is pleased to announce that a new Executive Principal with many years of school leadership experience, has joined the school.

Steve Broderick, who has worked previously as an Advanced Skills Teacher, Head of Department, National Lead for Sport & Health and Assistant Principal, brings with him both a professional and personal interest in provision and support networks for students with Special Educational Needs in the local area.

New Executive Principal Steve, said: “Our learners at Orchard overcome many challenges, sometimes every day, to make huge progress in all aspects of their learning to gain the skills and knowledge to make their next steps in life with confidence and high aspirations. I look forward to celebrating these achievements as well as learning how we can do things even better by listening to the learners, staff, stakeholders, parents and carers”.

Steve added: “I believe that every child deserves a champion and will work passionately to ensure all our learners are championed and fully supported in their journey to become the best they can be”.
